Willette Graphics Printing Press
| "...the seed is the word of God." ~ Luke 8:11 |
An offset printing press was purchased and put into operation in 1986 at Rampachodavaram. The Bible being the only item available for purchase in India left the church without Hymn books, tracts, and necessary teaching materials. Increased demand of the press has overcome its capacity and a larger, more modern printing press became the top priority.
We were able to raise sufficient funds in 1996 and 1997 to purchase a modern printing press with all its associated equipment. The press become operational in November 1997, and has the capacity to fulfill our needs for the next decade.
We have instituted a correspondence course with 17,630 students presently enrolled. There have been approximately 8,000 students to graduate thus far from the school. We never dreamed there would be such a demand for printed material in the native tongue (Telegu). We are grateful to Brothers Thomas Eaves, Sr.; Garry Grizzell; John M. Hurt; George F. Raines; Tom Holland; and Andrew Connley for permitting their writings to be translated into Telegu. Nearly $100 will provide 5,000 tracts or 500 correspondence courses. Commentaries on Galatians, Acts, Hebrews, and James have been translated into Telegu. This will be the first commentaries available to the church in their native tongue.
Along with the tracts and correspondence course material, we print our own Hymn books on the press which are distributed to all of our congregations in India as well as a Christian magazine called The Way of Truth. This magazine is distributed in both India and the U.S. It is used to promote the New Testament Church and the India work.
